As we prepare for marriage, we ask that you bathe us in prayer. There are many things, on top of typical "married life" adjustments, that we need prayer for. Here are some of them:
- for the wedding to be as though we were "walking with God in the cool of the day"
- Cinelle's re-application for an immigrant status
- Stephen's final year of grad school, teaching at UGA, writing a thesis and presenting at a conference in Alabama in November.
- Direction, inspiration and provision for Cinelle (and Jenni) as they expand their business this year.
- Family members who are sick.
- Cinelle's eventual application to grad school for an MFA in Narrative Non-Fiction/Creative Writing.
- Cinelle and Stephen further plugging themselves in the Redeemer/Resurrection church communities in Athens.
- For their marriage to be a blessing to many, especially when C & S are unaware.
- Stephen coaching third- and fourth-grade basketball through Downtown Ministries.
- Stephen to continue to immerse himself in one of God's greatest provision this year: mens prayer and bible group.
- Stephen and Cinelle's protection from past hurts and deceiving lies.
- Stephen and Cinelle's apartment to be a sanctuary for prayer and community-building.
- Cinelle to feel connected to New York family and friends while truly enjoying the South.
- Immense joy, peace and love.
- Stephen and Cinelle to always feel secure in the Father's love... and in nothing else.
- Cinelle to continue to have the wave of creativity she's had all year.
- For our families to be blessed with peace, hope, sustenance, joy and truth.
- Stephen and Cinelle to NEVER worry about provision, as we have never ever been hungry a day in our lives.
- Cinelle's blog on the value of a shared meal to be honest, colorful, beautiful and useful. A form of meditation.
