How To Get There:
By Car:
Mapquest or GPS destination: 2085 Jacqueline Ave. N. Bellmore NY 11710
By Train:
Take LIRR train from 34th St Penn Station -- Babylon Line (it is the hunter green train line). Get off at the Bellmore stop. Approx. 50 minutes. Take stairwell exit on middle of platform. There will be appropriately-labeled wedding vans waiting at the terminal, in front of the middle escalator and elevator on the north side.
If you get left behind by the wedding vans, you may take a cab across the street from the train station. The cab terminal is close to the fire station. LI cab rides cost about 6 bucks for two persons, plus tip. It takes about 8-10 minutes to travel from the train station to the reception (2085 Jacqueline Ave.). Bellmore Taxi is on 214 Pettit Ave, Bellmore, NY 11710. You may call for pick-up after the reception: 516-785-0412. They drive to and from Long Island and all NYC boroughs, including airports.
For up-to-date train schedules (note that Sept 5th falls on a holiday weekend), please visit this page. As of 7/15/10, the best train to take is the 3:40pm train from Penn Station, arriving at Bellmore at 4:32pm.
